Head of Sports - Warwick Percival

Warwick attended renown rugby nursery The King's School playing many sports along the way, particularly rugby union and cricket where he played both 1st XV and 1st XI for two seasons. Upon graduating, he joined Eastern Suburbs Rugby Union Football Club in Sydney's Shute Shield. After two seasons in the 1st Colts, he moved into the grade ranks and played his way through the teams representing the 1st XV over several seasons between stints playing in Scotland and England. At the conclusion to the 2015 season, Warwick retired after having scored more than 1700 points for Easts - becoming their top all-time point scorer.

A PDHPE teacher of many years in Australia and the UK, Warwick holds coaching certificates in multiple sports along with a current WWCCC number, First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation certificates.


Head of Coaching - Mitchell Hughes

After playing many sports including representing the 2nd XV rugby in his final year at The King's School and then playing Subbies Rugby upon graduating, Mitch has developed a devoted passion for physical activity. He offers YSA an extensive range of knowledge in skill development for a number of sporting areas including hockey, soccer and rugby having over 15 years of experience in coaching in Australia and the UK.

Mitch has furthered his understanding and passion for inspiring young people to stay active and to be healthy through his roles as Head Sports Specialist in a number of summer camps in the USA and becoming a Snowboard Instructor in Canada. Recently, he has worked as a coach for both junior and senior teams at St. Ignatius College Riverview, SCEGGS Redlands and Loretto Normanhurst.

Also a PDHPE teacher and having worked in Australia and the UK, Mitch holds coaching certificates in multiple sports along with a current WWCCC number, First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation certificates.
